Mermaid Costume

I ordered a cute mermaid sew pattern from Etsy. See the designer's site: www.maddhands.com About 6 hours later, I made this adorable costume. (I had hand-sewn the whole thing as I don't remember how to use my sewing machine. I think that will be a great project for the winter, re-teaching myself the ways to improve my efficiency.)

She insists on being a zombie-mermaid, so we'll see if the zombie part comes to fruition. I'm kinda hoping she doesn't get fake blood all over this thing, there are so many little girls in our life that may be able to use this costume in the years to come.
